Autec Wireless Remote (Yellow)
These Autec Wireless controllers are nice but complicated to get started if you have never used them before. You know the controller is working properly when the green light on the top is blinking slowly. These wireless controllers do not have lights on them to line up the steering. Below is the process I used to get the controller set up.
Step 1: Make sure the wireless controller is charged. There is a charging dock in the plastic box.
Step 2. Plug in the receiver on the trailer
Step 3: Make sure your light cord from the truck to the trailer is plugged in and the trailer and truck lights are on.
Step 4: Start the Pony Motor and make the the hydraulic lever is in the "Work" Position
Step 5: Turn the switch to Steering Wheel on the side of the trailer
Step 6: Turn the switch under the neck to bypass the steering to the 5th Wheel Steering.
Step 7: Make sure the red button on the Autec Controller is pulled out. When that button is pressed down it turns the controller off.
Step 8: Press "Function" then press "Start" then press " Start" Do this quickly. The green light should turn on either flashing fats or on constant (no flash)
Step 9: Press "Function" and then press "Start"
Step 10. Controller should work. Sometimes I found that I has to press Function and then Start once more in that order to get it to work. The green light should be flashing slowly.
Step 11. Use the arrow button to steer the rear 3 Axles. The 3 middle axles DO NOT steer with the remote or hydraulics they only steer with friction.
Step 12: Press the red button down to turn off the controller
